The Red Bull Racing F1 team were given a special invitation to Guadalajara in Mexico to participate in a one-off promotional F1 Street Race Event. The Red Bull car selected for the race required both pre race set-up and optimisation during testing as well as full track side engineering support on race day. The race had been heavily promoted so had a lot of public attention as well as the Motorsport world watching closely. For this reason, Red Bull were particularly keen to do well at the event and be highly competitive throughout.
Bowmotive’s principal, Andy Bowman was directly involved in the required track side support and pre race setup, particular acting as an advisory on brakes and hydraulics. Through the event data was carefully monitored to guide fine tuning and setup changes for the car both pre-race and during the main event. As a key team member, Andy enjoyed success at the event working around the clock in sweltering conditions to achieve a strong performance for Red Bull Racing.
